Glowing Gone is a global call to action campaign created by Adobe and Pantone to inspire creatives to create their own campaign to bring awareness to the decline of our coral reefs. During the death process, corals sometimes emit these glowing colors, that although incredibly beautiful, is their last defense to protect themselves from the heat. Eventually, they bleach and then sadly die. This process was my inspiration for the poster I created to show this transformation.
This illustration was selected as one of the Top 3 designs among thousands that contributed in the campaign. It was a featured wallpaper on WeTrasnfer to promote Glowing Gone for October 2019.
I had the honor of creating the “O“ poster for the 2019 Phoenix Design Week.
Together with five other local creatives in the valley, we each designed a poster corresponding to a letter to spell out this year’s theme: EVOLVE. The posters was to reflect the theme of evolving design in Arizona.
I drew my inspiration from the ever evolving nature of the dessert such as the Vermillion Cliffs of Arizona.
Created during my most challenging year, a reminder that we can choose to see the beauty in the world. A lot of us forget this sometimes, but we have the ability to turn lemons into lemonade.
Pabst Blue Ribbon Art Contest 2019 entry
As a self-proclaimed denim jacket queen, I decided to appeal to the retro/hipster side of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. Nothing says make-it-your-own that your own customized denim jacket with pins and patches that show who you are.
A home is not a home without plants. There’s nothing like bringing a piece of nature into your house. Going to plant shops or just being around nature brings so much happiness, peace and creativity to life.
